KCADC Staff Announcement

by Lexi Ryan | Jun 04, 2020

Ashlie Hand has served as leader of KCADC’s communications, messaging and content development for nearly 21 years. Today, Ashlie announced that she has accepted the position of Director of Communications for the Catholic Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph, effective July 1.

Ashlie has devoted half of her life to KCADC, our investors, our community and our region’s reputation as a business and lifestyle destination. She has provided tremendous  leadership in brand strategy and messaging for regional campaigns including A Better KCI, KC Global Design, KC Rising, OneKC and most recently, KC Heartland. She is most proud of her ability to share the KC story through the placement of positive national news articles reaching nearly 2 billion people.

While this is a loss for the KCADC family, we are so proud that Ashlie has chosen to continue to serve KC, and an important faith community, in this new capacity.

As you know, KCADC has a highly-skilled and talented Marketing team that will seamlessly step into Ashlie’s responsibilities. Jonathan Knecht will lead as the senior member of our Marketing team as we continue to deliver for our investors and partners across the KC region, and others on the team will have expanded leadership roles.

"KCADC is a foundational part of who I am as a professional and community leader. I am forever grateful for the incredible experiences, relationships, lessons and skills that  have  uniquely prepared me for this new role. I am honored to now serve our KC region by sharing the stories of the Catholic faith community in the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph," said Hand.
