Pop-Up Events

KCADC Investor Pop-Up Events offer our regional partners an additional opportunity to connect and network with KC regional leaders. Hosted by KCADC investors, for KCADC investors, watch for new events popping up across the metro throughout the year.

Event Details:
  • Held from 4:30-6:30 p.m. several times throughout the year
  • Hosted by KCADC investor companies
  • Open exclusively to KCADC investor contacts – and prospective investors by contacting Jennifer Lyon
Hosting Opportunities:
  • Host companies provide the venue and can be held at their offices or other preferred venue (restaurant, charitable organization, etc.)
  • Host determines the ideal number of allowed RSVPs/attendees based on space limitations
  • For companies with limited space, investors will be able to bring 2 people per company
  • KCADC will send the invitations to investor contacts and will include the company logo
  • KCADC will set up the EventBrite site for RSVPs and to capture contact info for name tags and post-event email
  • Host provides light appetizers and beverages for the group
  • KCADC team will attend, but the host serves as the leader and will welcome the group, start introductions (depending on size of the group), talk about the purpose of the pop-up events and speak for 1-2 minutes about the most exciting thing happening at their company
  • Host company can have signage set up and provide marketing material/giveaways
  • Investors can co-host with another investor company to share on expenses
Additional information:
  • KCADC will invite prospective investors to these events to connect with current members and get feedback about their involvement
  • Investor contacts should consider inviting an “up and comer” from their company to provide them exposure to KCADC
  • If investors can’t make it, they should encourage another leader to attend
