Last week, the Kansas City Area Development Council officially welcomed Lisa Ginter, chief executive officer of CommunityAmerica Credit Union, as senior co-chair of the KCADC Board of Directors. Ginter is joined by incoming co-chair Brett Gordon, chairman of the board at McCownGordon Construction, and by treasurer Brian Roberts, chief diversity officer and director of operations at Lockton Companies.
This year’s leadership made an impressive intro during the 2020 KCADC Annual Meeting broadcast. Ginter succeeds David Hall, executive vice chairman of Hallmark Cards, Inc, who served as KCADC’s board co-chair for the past two years.

Notable announcements include USDA’s decision to locate operations of two key agencies in the region and significant eCommerce growth, including the location of new distribution centers for Urban Outfitters, Chewy, Inc., UPS and more.
