KCADC’s 2020 Annual Meeting, First All-Digital Broadcast Brings National Reach

On November 18, KCADC hosted its first all-digital  Annual Meeting. The highly-interactive, 60-minute broadcast celebrated our KC region and the choices that positively impact and shape our community. 

EnIJb3NXMAMHElpThe event was streamed via Castr by 2,173 devices across 46 metros in 28 states. The show was also made available via Spectrum to 187,000 households across the KC metro. 

The program garnered 2,939 interactions and 88,300 impressions on social media. Leading up to the event, the KCADC social channels received 88,500 impressions and nearly 1,000 clicks to the registration website through paid promotion. 

KCADC’s Annual Meeting celebrated our region’s success amongst a year of uncertainty. In the last 12 months, the Kansas City region attracted 13 manufacturing, eCommerce and professional services companies that will invest more than $1 billion and create 3,789 jobs. 

In addition, the event showcased key highlights from the year including: KCADC being named the No. 1 regional economic development group in the U.S.; KC recognized as the “Best Work From Home City in the U.S.,” and its status as a Top Mid-Size City for Future Projects by the Site Selectors Guild. 

The region’s accomplishments were recognized locally and nationally by MetroWire Media, DC Velocity and Industry Week.
