KC Heartland Goes National

To celebrate and maximize Kansas City’s first NFL Super BowlTM appearance in 50 years, ambassadors from the KC region attended watch parties in select cities across the U.S., including LA, DC, NYC and Chicago, introducing the region’s “KC Heartland” identity to a national audience. An additional activation in Miami capitalized on earned media and Chiefs fan activity around the big game. The fully-integrated strategy leveraged digital ads and social media promotion meant to increase social media following for the KC Heartland channels and traffic to The resulting impact creates a stronger connection between the KC Heart icon and fan affinity for the KC region.
