KC Employers Want to Hire You

TeamKC, the Kansas City Area Development Council’s talent attraction and retention initiative, is partnering with the Platte County Economic Development Council and KC SmartPort to connect recently displaced talent with area employers in response to Harley-Davidson’s announcement of layoffs at its Kansas City plant.

Platte County is growing with area employers actively hiring, including:

Adient: a world-class automotive seating supplier.

Aviation Technical Services: one of the largest third-party, transport aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) providers in North America.

Blount International: a global manufacturer and marketer of replacement parts, equipment and accessories for the forestry, lawn, and garden; farm, ranch, and agriculture; and concrete cutting and finishing markets.

Challenge Manufacturing: a leading global Tier 1 supplier of complex safety-critical assemblies and engineered metal formed products to the automotive industry.

CVS Health: a distribution facility shipping pharmacy and front store product to CVS stores in the Midwest region.

Multivac: is the leading manufacturer worldwide of thermoforming packaging machines.

Pure Fishing: the leading global provider of fishing equipment and accessories, Pure Fishing is growing its distribution center.
