AMERICOLD ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR FIRST COLD STORAGE FACILITY CO-LOCATED ON CPKC RAIL NETWORK
Americold Realty Trust, a global leader in temperature-controlled logistics, real estate and value-added services, plans to invest $127 million in a 335,000-square-foot facility in Kansas City Missouri, creating nearly 190 new jobs.
This facility is the first of a strategic collaboration with Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) to co-locate Americold warehouse facilities on the CPKC network. A key logistics hub, the KC region will enable Americold to support more of its customers throughout North America more efficiently.

URBN FULFILLMENT CENTER OPENS FOR RENTAL BRAND, NUULY
URBN Outfitters, Inc. commenced operations on February 20 at its new 600,000-square-foot fulfillment center in Raymore, Missouri. URBN is investing $60 million to build the fulfillment and laundry facility for the company’s clothing rental brand, Nuuly.
The Nuuly facility – URBN’s
second investment in the KC region – is expected to create 750 jobs over the next five years. Kansas City’s central location, robust infrastructure and skilled workforce will provide the company with capacity to triple its active subscriber base.
