EXCITING AREA WHICH I AM FAMILIAR WITH,  BEING A JAYHAWKER WITH FAMILY LIVING THERE.  THE CITY GOVERNMENT HAS BEEN SEARCHING FOR SOMETHING TO BRING LIFE BACK TO THE AREA.  IT SEEMS LIKE THIS WAS THE REVITALIZATION NEEDED FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE SLAUGHTERHOUSE INDUSTRY WHICH WAS THERE IN THE PAST, THAT STIMULATED JOBS AND INDUSTRY.
