CJ LOGISTICS AMERICA TO OPEN COLD STOARGE WAREHOUSE IN KANSAS CITY
CJ Logistics America announced the opening of a new cold storage warehouse in New Century, Kansas, that will directly serve the adjacent Upfield US Inc. plant via a connected conveyor bridge. Located on an existing rail spur and in close proximity to I-35 and the BNSF Intermodal Facility, the warehouse will benefit from the abundant multi-modal transportation access available in the Kansas City region. CJ Logistics will occupy 291,000 sq. ft. of space at the facility, with an additional 100,000 sq. ft. remaining available for other customers.

Automation and sophisticated workplace robots are becoming increasingly more present in advanced manufacturing facilities. Humanoid and task-specific robots capable of performing high-risk, tedious functions have increased efficiency and facility safety in the automotive, food and beverage, and distribution industries.
