The Kansas City region remains a hot industrial market as several companies have recently announced plans to locate a new distribution or manufacturing facility, or expand their existing presence in KC. Here are a few updates from August.
ITRenew, an Information Technology and Service Provider from Silicon Valley, will open a new 315,000 +/- sq. ft. assembly facility in the I-35 Logistics Park in Olathe, Kan. Read more.
Matheson is the newest tenant in Logistics Park Kansas City in Edgerton, Kan. Matheson provides over the road, short and long-haul transportation, logistics and ground handling solutions for national and international air cargo carriers, distributors, retailers and the U.S. Postal Service nationwide.
Kubota Tractor Corporation had its grand opening ceremony for two, one million-sq.-ft. buildings in Edgerton, Kan. This location will serve as the logistics hub for the company’s North American operations, allowing Kubota to expand its distribution capacity and streamline logistics.
T.J. Maxx, a popular discount clothing chain, heads to Olathe, Kan. for a new 145,000-sq.-ft. distribution center. Approximately 80 to 100 jobs will be created. Read more.
