Excelligence Learning will consolidate operations at new Gardner facility

by Mary Rooney | Jan 09, 2018

Excelligence Learning Corp broke ground on its new 646,000-sq.-ft. Gardner facility in December.

Exelligence develops, manufactures and distributes educational supplies, equipment and services for child care programs, preschools, elementary schools and consumers nationwide.

The new $38 million facility in Midwest Commerce Center at 175th Street and U.S. Highway 56 in Gardner is expected to be completed by year-end 2018. It will consolidate Excelligence operations currently housed at five facilities that include all manufacturing and distribution, as well as a call center operation, for the company's Supplies Division businesses, Discount School Supply and Really Good Stuff.

The new Excelligence facility is anticipated to employ approximately 250 people by the end of the first three years of operation.
