Ron LeMay

Managing Director and Co-Founder, Open Air Equity Partners

Ron LeMay serves as managing director and co-founder of Open Air Equity Partners. Open Air Equity Partners concentrates on Internet of Things and other communications’ investments with portfolio companies that focus on broadband communications, and connected car, home, aircraft and agriculture. Ron is co-founder of Hyla Mobile, the creator of carrier grade wireless device trade-in programs and the largest provider of such services. As the first employee and CEO of Sprint PCS, Ron guided the company to $10B in annual revenues faster than any company in U.S. history. He also served as CEO of Japan Telecom where he orchestrated the company’s turnaround and successful sale. Ron is co-founder of Gogo Inflight Internet Services, the global leader in broadband in-flight internet services. Ron currently serves on the boards of Gogo, Hyla, Zubie and other Open Air portfolio companies.

When I am playing with my grandchildren or in my office in the process of solving a problem or watching the Arkansas Razorbacks solve a problem.

What is your most treasured personal possession? 
My wife of 44 years.

Captain America – my 2 year old grandson version thereof.
