Shippers Cautiously Optimistic on Growth for 2017

Shippers, carriers and logistics executives at the JOC Inland Distribution Conference believe business will gradually improve in 2017. U.S. real gross domestic product rose by 2.9 percent in the third quarter after three quarters of economic growth ranging from 0.8 to 1.4 percent. The U.S. economy is showing signs of faster growth, although there are still many questions ahead about global trade agreements and NAFTA. Read more.
