    Join Kauffman Scholars, Inc. (KSI) and the Hispanic Development Fund (HDF) for their kick-off event for the Young Professionals of Color-KC (YPOC-KC) series!

    YPOC-KC is a new initiative led by KSI and HDF focused on diversity-centered resources and networking for the developing multicultural professional. Programming offered by YPOC-KC will be free and open to the general public as we look to partner with various organizations throughout the Kansas City area. Each YPOC-KC event will dig into the various diversity-focused topics that are essential to supporting and growing a diverse professional workforce in our city. The goal is to assist young professionals of color in Kansas City in finding the support they need to help build and lead Kansas City.

    The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is hosting Pam McElvane, Founder and CEO of the National Diversity MBA Magazine hedquartered in Chicago, IL. Pam is known as one of the nations thought leaders in diversity best practices based on Diversity MBAs inclusive leadership index that uniquely measures all aspects of talent management. She will present:

    • The State of Diversity and Inclusion
    • How leaders can position themselves around best practices and principles
    • Next practices for future success

    During this dynamic interactive workshop Human Resources and Diversity & Inclusion leaders with an MBA will have an opportunity to hear from global thought leaders and professionals.
