    GBAC STAR™ Accreditation Program Presentation

In partnership with the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC), Visit KC is investigating the steps necessary to seek industry-leading accreditation for sanitation and safety protocols of our community businesses, venues and facilities.

To gauge interest among our destination partners, Visit KC has coordinated a free presentation of the GBAC STAR Accreditation program specifically for our community at 9 a.m. this Thursday. The STAR program provides an opportunity for facilities to obtain third-party validation of their sanitation efforts, receive a globally-recognized accreditation and allow individuals on their respective teams to obtain certifications of completion. Additionally, it conveys to our customers, partners and community that our local industry is taking the necessary steps as we responsibly reopen for business.

This no-commitment presentation is open to any and all businesses within our region, so kindly forward the invitation to your partners and members that you feel would benefit from more information about the GBAC STAR program.
