Innovation Exchange: Stopping the exodus of KC talent

In the latest edition of Startland News's Innovation Exchange series, we focus on a single question: How can we stop educated talent from leaving Kansas City?

As revealed in a new KC Rising report, more college-educated people are leaving KC than being drawn to the region. Despite thousands of open jobs, KC ranked 30 out of 31 peer cities in the U.S. for the net migration of adults with a Bachelor's degree or higher in 2016. How can we as a region reverse that trend?

In an interactive fireside chat presented by GXP Investments, former residents, civic officials, and business leaders will analyze the challenge and discuss how we can address it. Event includes food, drinks, and networking.

Location: KC Power and Light Co., 1200 Main Street, Kansas City, MO 64105
    Time: 5 - 7 p.m.
