KC Degrees Helps Adults Complete College and Find Meaningful Work

by Lexi Ryan | May 07, 2019

In the KC region alone, there are 300,000 individuals with some college but no degree. In 2016, KC Degrees stepped in to help.  The program targets adults 25 and older with personalized, consistent and reliable college success services. This includes access to a robust community-based resources network and direct contacts within a postsecondary network of regional employers.

KC Degrees is part of the Graduate! Network, which was founded in Philadelphia and has grown to include more than 20 communities.

KC Degrees is led by a guiding team of business and higher education professionals, and receives financial support from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Johnson County Community College, Metropolitan Community College and the University of Kansas. There are 17 partner institutions associated with the program, each chosen for their track record of strong outcomes for adult students seeking high-quality certificates and degrees.
